Whats in a picture?

Ok so two pictures of an Ariel Atom in action. What one do you think shows the most action?

The top one you get the action from Clarkson's mouth the bottom one uses the blur of the wheels and the background. What one shows the most action in your view?

Does the distortion on Clarkson's face give you a more personal impression of speed and action Vs the impersonal view of the helmeted driver?

Does the fact that in the bottom picture you can see the car as a whole rather than the close up of Clarkson's face in the top picture allow you to feel more of sense of movement?
